Tom Allen is a New Zealand rugby union lock who has represented New Zealand at U20 level and competed in multiple World Rugby U20 tournaments. He currently plays for the Hawke’s Bay Magpies in New Zealand’s NPC and has secured a full-time contract with the Hurricanes Super Rugby squad, continuing his rise through professional rugby.
Standing at 1.97 m and combining height with athleticism, Tom brings a powerful presence to the line-out and forward play. Known for his timing, aerial ability, and physicality in the set-piece, he specialises in line-out jumping and forward execution — skills he now shares through his coaching sessions.
Tom’s coaching focuses on line-out technique, body positioning, jump timing, communication, and forward skills that build confidence and performance on match day. With experience at age-grade international level and in professional environments, Tom offers clear, practical guidance for players aiming to elevate their set-piece and forward play.
