Amy Du Plessis is an accomplished New Zealand rugby player with experience at the highest levels of the women’s game. A proud representative of the Black Ferns, Amy has competed on the international stage, showcasing her skill, speed, and tactical awareness against the world’s best.
At the domestic level, she has been a key figure in Matatū, competing in Super Rugby Aupiki and contributing to the growth and success of the professional women’s competition in New Zealand. She has also represented Canterbury Women in the Farah Palmer Cup, where she played an important role in one of the country’s most successful provincial programs. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience playing for Otago Spirit, further developing her game at the provincial level.
Amy brings elite-level experience, professionalism, and a deep understanding of high-performance rugby to her coaching. Her journey through international, Super Rugby, and provincial competitions gives her unique insight into what it takes to succeed, and she is passionate about helping players grow both on and off the field.
